Folks, you heard it here first.
The other day I was reading something about cemeteries being used for wind farms. Interesting. But I then thought of some projects on which my firm was working: Landfill.
Why stop at simply generating power from the wind? The decomposition of bodies underground is a serious source of methane. I think the penultimate design would be to create a cometary that has holds in the ground where the casket is lowered into; holes that look like normal cemetery plots.
**Spoiler: it gets a bit yucky here**
But, the coffin itself has a trap door and the body is dropped out of it into a holding tank. With other bodies in one big kettle, the methane is harvested and flared in a generator, probably 1 or 2 megawatts.
This idea is covered by my copyright. heh heh
